The Guffiate 2

The Guffiate is a newsletter from the Going Under Fan Fund, published by the European GUFF administrator, Roelof Goudriaan, Caan van Necklaan 63. 2281 BB Rijswijk, the Netherlands. The Guffiate is sent to all Europeans who voted for GUFF, who donated money or found yet other arcane ways to get on the GUFF mailing list (like dropping a postcard). Additionally, The Guffiate is sent along with most copies of the European SF newsletter Shards Of Babel and distributed at conventions which I attend. It should, in short, be difficult not to receive a copy!

The GUFF Fanzine Sale

The July fanzine sale was a success, selling a fair percentage of the fanzines offered; still, quite a few overestimated the speed of international mail: I must have received a dozen of cards saying wrote "I suppose the best fanzines have gone by now", long before this was actually the case! Judging from the July example, you'll have a fair chance of getting the fanzines you want until the end of February! So, if you want to fill holes in your fanzine collection, or sample unknown fanzines, support GUFF and order some!

The rules of the game: the fanzines listed below will sell to the first interested party. Prices are moderate: US$1 a piece, unless otherwise noted. You pay an extra $2 per order to help paying for postage – so the more you order, the cheaper the fanzines are!

Most of these fanzines date from the early to mid eighties; exceptions are usually noted. Names of interest are noted only sporadically – there is much more fascinating material in these fanzines than I had time to write down! Though prices are in American dollars, equivalent amounts in other currencies are equally welcome. I accept cash in all hard currencies, and cheques in Dutch guilders or US dollars (both made out to Roelof Goudriaan), in pound sterling (made out to Eve Harvey) and in Australian dollars (made out to Roman Orszanski). However, of most fanzines I have only one or two copies are available, so don't send money yet: just send a postcard or letter with a list of the fanzines you want to Roelof Goudriaan, Caan van Necklaan 63, 2281 BB Rijswijk, the Netherlands, and I will bill you.
